Al termine di due stagioni da Offensive Cordinator, Marcus è stato incaricato dalla dirigenza Seamen a Capo Allenatore, un ruolo coperto per due anni nei Baltic Kiel, squadra dove militava Xavier Mitchell. Felice dell’incarico Marcus ha espresso l’orgoglio di guidare la squadra a trovare le motivazioni per una stagione che si appresta difficile per mantenere alta la concentrazione e gli stimoli. Dopo il rifiuto di Michael Wood di guidare la difesa è iniziata la ricerca di un defensive coordinatore e molti sono i canditati. Il Carisma di Marcus sulla Squadra e la grande professionalità espressa durante queste due stagioni, oltre ad aver collaborato con Paolo Mutti, Mauro Salvemini e Marco Polizzi nelle scelte offensive, hanno dato alla squadra e soprattutto a Luke Zahradka quella sicurezza che ha contraddistinto queste ultime due stagioni.
E’ quindi iniziata la campagna di conferme e rinforzi dopo i ritiri, anche se da confermare, di alcuni delle colonne del team.
Confermato il ritorno di Andrea Zini, ora sarà la preparazione di Ottobre a definire se i Seamen saranno pronti ad affrontare una stagione ad alto livello anche in Europa dopo il ridimensionamento avuto contro i Raiders, ma anche qui si impara e comunque il terzo scudetto consecutivo è stato conquistato
In Difesa confermati Luca Bellora, Massimo d’Alessandra e Paolo Guerrini entrano nel coaching Staff anche Daniele Pezza e se confermato il ritiro anche Marco Aletti che iniziano il percorso di supporto tecnico al team. Sarà ancora Stefano Busnaghi lo Special Team Coach e Massimo Annoni Preparatore Atletico che inizierà a mettere sotto torchio il team già da ottobre
Confermati Luke e Xavier, sarà il terzo Slot una ricerca che probabilmente non sarà solo a guardare gli USA, questo per permettere di avere un outstanding player in coppa.
I Blocchi di partenza sono pronti e la “campagna di recruiting” inizierà a settembre, nel frattempo il 31 Agosto confermato Try Day un giorno di prova per avvicinarsi ai Seamen e vedere i nuovi ragazzi pronti a salire a bordo dei team Giovanili e anche Senior se hai più di 19 anni
